And then there is the open sky, no one around, stars practically falling out of the air into your hands...maybe you'll hear a dog bark...you don't smell anyone else around...you don't even know anyone else exists.
thats what the metro area is for. anyway you can get that on the same island that queens and bk are on. there's something called the lirr that runs through queens and bk that can get you to an area like that in a few min.

Do you remember earlier this month? The Mid-Atlantic was also in a moderate drought. That was dry heat then it switched back over to humid heat.
When I lived in Southeast Queens I heard crickets at night, they'd be drowned out for minute when cars/buses/trains go past, gunshots, and people being loud but crickets equals quiet to me, I saw stars too, Venus as well. They're more pronounced in places with lower density, even looks unreal sometimes.
People need to stop assuming the whole City of New York is 100% like Midtown Manhattan lol.
Ya hasn't Trader Joes been open in NY for a few years now? Although there is no In N Out.
there are much better burgers than in and out...
in and out is just fast food... its better than mcdonalds or burger king but nothing to go crazy about.
