Intriguing

It seems staples has multiple Vice Presidents...

# Kristin Campbell, Senior Vice President & General Counsel
# Shira Goodman, Executive Vice President, Human Resources
# Brian T. Light, Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer

Interesting that only one is male, assuming you had a father.

Your father is also the CIO, nice.

That was easy.

I wouldn't say it's expensive for no reason. Housing prices are driven by demand and for a long time people wanted to live in the bay area. The natural scenery is amazing and the climate is very mild. I think more people value those things as much or more than culture, diversity and public transportation. It was the deciding factor in why I voted for SF over Boston. Both are really cool cities though.

Not sure why this died, but it is a good thread.

To comment on universities...

Boston has not just Harvard and MIT, but...

Boston University
Boston College
Tufts
Wellesly
Brandeis
UMass

Compared to
Stanford
UC Berkeley
USF

then the competition they give is not that good... UCSF is just med, UC Hasting is just law...

As good as SF Universities are... Boston still shreds them.

Boston has much more history, better sports scene, colonial architecture, better PT, and some really cool people (not to say that SF doesn't have any) that IMO are more down to earth. I never really hear Bostonians bad mouthing other cities or thinking that they're all high and mighty, while I always see SF people putting up there city like its gold, funny thing about this is that the whole time I was in LA I never heard anyone even mention San Francisco (or any other city as a matter of fact) yet SF can't get LA out of there mouths.
