The first time I had it was in New Orleans. I happened to come accross some Portuguese restaurants that serve them in Newark, sooo good! Boston has a good Portuguese section too that may have them (??)
Pago Pago, American Samoa - Fresh Yellowfin Tuna is $2 a pound. We use to joke when we were low on cash that we'd have to resort to eating nothing but fresh tuna for a while. Though we did miss Salmon.
I could really care less otherwise since I usually cook fish myself since its really not that difficult. As long as there's someplace to buy fresh fish I'm good to go. I do prefer Saltwater to Freshwater but that's only because I've never been a fisher or lived in middle America. I'm sure I could learn good ways to cook freshwater just the same.
