Wow, Northpark parking lot is ugly.

But Houston Galleria is ugly from the inside. When you come until you go out. From the food court to the kiosks to the restrooms.

I rather see a ugly parking lot than a very disfigured, uninviting, hideous, unkeep mall.

These stores are in Dallas too, just not at Northpark.
I know that we have them in Dallas.

It just doesn't fit the idea of an upscale mall that Houston Galleria thinks it has.

Northpark Center is more upscale than Houston Galleria.

Those stores are nowhere near upscale.

I rather have an XXI (Forever 21) than those stores.

If you exit Central Expressway at the main entrance to NorthPark at NorthPark Blvd. You won't see one surface parking lot. The surface lots on the north side of the mall facing Park are supposed to be developed with mixed uses. The south side surface lots are primarily used by valet and arent that big of lots. The Dillards lot is actually a parking garage. I personally agree that currently there are a lot of surface parking spaces at NorthPark but I think that will change.

Not true The Galleria has way more upscale stores than Northpark.
Chanel
Bally
Yves Saint Laurent
Dior
Fendi
Ermenegildo Zegna
Tory Burch
Giorgio Armani
Max Mara
etc.

Vs

Tods
Roberto Cavalli
Oscar de La Renta

Forever 21 is no better than Agaci, its all cheap "tendy" clothes.

Dallas has already two Saks Fifth Avenue, one at the Galleria Dallas and The Shops at Willow Bend, plus Dallas has the only Barneys in Texas.

Yes, Northpark Center has a Public Liabriy called Bookmarks and I don't see anything wrong with that because its for the children. And Borders has locations everywhere. It just means that Houston Galleria can't find a decent store to rent the space.

Bookmarks at Northpark Center

Northpark has stores that Houston Galleria doesn't have.

At Northpark Center you get a better overall shopping exprience.

From the art display to free yoga at the park to fashion shows.

Northpark Center even has a park

Center Park
Sorry but this is a NORTHPARK vs THE GALLERIA thread, so your conparison with Dallas Galleria and Willowbend doesn't count.

Haha beautiful? What an awkward word to use to describe any mall, I simply don't agree, Northpark does not look "better", the original section looks very old and somewhat dirty.
