So? I was referring to quality of higher education, of which Orlando is better than Tampa for.

You have Springs? In Tampa? I know there are some near Lakeland/Zephyr Hills but I'm not familiar with any in Tampa. Orlando has multiple in its metro.

And I'm not making it seem like anything, simply stating that the oil is going to hit Tampa. This is not a good thing but it is the case.

Tampa has the largest port in the state of Florida, along with the largest amount of trade and tonnage of cargo
Tampa has Macdill AFB, headquarters to Central Command, Special Operations Command, Special Operations Central Command, Marine Corps Forces Central Command, Africa Command. Basically, the only place more powerful then Macdill in the Pentagon.
Tampa is part of the Tampa/St Pete metro, 3rd largest in the south, behind Atlanta and Miami.
Tampa has more history. You can bring up Eatonville, but when I typed it in google images, there really isn't much to look at.
I can drive all over Tampa and not encounter a toll road.
One thing Tampa has that Orlando does not is a Casino.
Tampa has the Florida State Fairgrounds which has a very large amphitheater and hosts many conventions and of course the fair.
Tampa has more waterfront, with the bay, rivers, many lakes, and the gulf not far away..
Tampa has more pro sports teams.
Tampa is not infested with tourists. I know they are good for the economy, but lets face it, tourists are very annoying.
Tampa has better parades. Gasparilla and Guavaween are awesome.
Orlando is not infested with tourists either. Even though we get almost 50 million tourists a year. They stick to one corridor. the tourist corridor. Its an area along I-4 from the turnpike down to Disney World. Once you leave that area you barely encounter tourists. The locals know the area, and we know when we go there were gonna have to deal with tourists from all over the world. We usually don't go to that area unless we are going to one of the attractions, because thats basically the only reason to go over there. So of course your gonna have to deal with tourists when you go to one of the tourist attractions. Its not like we have to live with the tourists in our daily lives.

Orlando has the Christmas Day Parade that airs on Christmas morning nation wide on ABC.

Gasparilla is boats though in the bay so its different and does look pretty fun. I won't try to argue parades.

And I like going to the tourist area, if gas were cheaper or I just made a lot more money I'd spend more time out there. Talking to foreigners is fun.

I like going to the tourist area. I tend to think of them as residents on odd occasions because everyone is laxed with the exception of younger people whose eyes glow at the colors and movement on International.

I enjoy going there too, I just would not want to live with them on a daily basis. But its always cool going over there because you see ALL kinds of people. I hear people talking with British accents, northern accents, southern accents, people speaking French, German, Spanish, and all kinds of languages I don't even know. There is literally all kinds of people from all over the world in that area. Its always interesting to have a conversation with the tourists.

Yesterday I was at some sushi place by my house, not the tourist area. But there was this British family there, and one of the guys were complaining about how his beer tasted bad because it was cold. It was funny, cause they drink they're beer warm in the UK, and they drink much stronger beer, he ordered a light beer.

I don't know how they do it man. In America, a beer is supposed to be a refreshing beverage, it would taste horrible to me if it was room temperature.
