Chicago vs San Franciso, Oakland, Richmond, ETC I've been trying to figure out which one I would live in.

Which one is better one it comes down to affordability, night life, and diversity.

And really, which one would you rather live in?

Chicago has the better city, but SF has the better suburbs

This happens often.

It's essentially a tie, but I recommend Bay Area.

ugh.

There are plenty of rankings that put Chicago over SF. As far as this thread, Chicago is definitely more affordable, Chicago has excellent nightlife and its very diverse.

A lot of Chicago suburbs have racial integration and affordability.. Unlike the lily-white expensive Bay area suburbs!
