I am trying to get a creative dance class together but am having trouble finding affordable or available spaces. Does anyone have any advice? I would like to find a somewhat large area with a sound system but its not entirely necessary. A church or community area would be nice. Please feel free to contact me with more questions and thank you in advance for your help.
Check out the Union Project in Highland Park. It's a former church now being used as a community center. Perhaps they have a space you can borrow or rent.
On the west side of town in Oakdale, they have the Rock, which is also a former church being used as a youth & family center. They may rent some space too.
well the biggest problem is price. I am trying to keep the classes as cheap as possible and i will be doing this not for profit. as far as location goes i would like to stay in the eastern part of the city or the north sections up to mccandless (i live in the north hills). thank you so much for all of your advice and i will look into the suggestions!
