Are you looking for a home in Spring Hill? I'm practically giving my house away
I had a contract on my house and the people couldn't sell their house so now I have got my house back out there and the market has gone to a level that instead of us making about $20K at closing we will be lucky if we don't have to pay at closing. Our house is valued at $282K and we have it listed for $239K. We have to move. My husband is already in Alabama with his new job, but we (my kids and I) are still here trying to sell our house. If anyone is looking for a large 2840 sq ft house, privacy fence, cherry cabinets, 4 bed, 2.5 baths, 1/3 acre, huge backyard with wooden swingset and across the street from the K-8th grade elementary and middle school, close to the beach (Pine Island 15 minutes away) and shopping..pm me! I'm telling you this is the worsed time to sell. A realtor came to me last year and said he had a buyer for my house if I would take $265K and we said no way because it was worth almost $290K...why oh why didn't I do it??? Ugh!

I don't know where Spring Hill is but it seems safe to say that most of the country is going to see a complete retracement to pre-2001 levels. Fla, Ca, Mass seem to be racing to see who gets there first
That's not just my opinion.

Why don't you try and list it again. If you are well below market and it shows really well you can still sell quickly-even in a slow market. You just have to be nicer and less expensive than all our your competition. If you can do that it should sell quickly in any market. This time I wouldn't take an offer with a contengency that the buyers need to sell their own home- those fall apart all the time.
If you are not going to be making anything on it, have you considered renting it out until the market gets a little better? If it's worth $20K-$40K (or who knows how much in the future), that could be a good investment.

Property Inquiry
My wife and I are interested in your house and would like to see the house. Bottom line - what is the very least you would accept to get the house off your hands? Pls reply me at jusst_us@yahoo.com!
