Ambler/Ft. Washington/Philly burbs - rooms available in house share!
Hi everyone, my name is Chris. I am the property manager and roommate in a great house I rent and I am looking for two roommates for 2 of 3 rooms (I would like to get someone in by the end of June if possible).
About the house - it's a 3-story farmhouse/mansion fully renovated in 2010. Three full bathrooms (one on each floor). Laundry area on 2nd floor near bathroom. Total sq. footage is 6,000... nearly 50 brand new storm windows, and new carpet throughout house except bathrooms and kitchen which are tile and hardwood laminate.
We have a home theater in the den area just off the kitchen, as well as a recording studio setup in the same room (behind the chairs/seating). It's a pretty sweet spot and ideal for artists/musicians and movie lovers (I have Netflix streaming as well as a personal collection of nearly 1,000 DVDs).
The smaller rooms are available for $550, all util and cable/internet included, and are either 10x17, or 12x15.
The larger room, which I like to call the "Penthouse Suite", is on the 3rd floor, and is 20x28. It's probably the nicest room in the house. This room is $695, all utilities and cable included.
Lease is month-to-month but we need a 60-day advance notice if you were to move out. All of the roommates are super laid back and friendly, and there's no drama here. The prices are more than fair for this area (it's very safe, and convenient - the train station is a 10-minute walk... Wawa is a 5-minute walk). Plenty of off-street parking, and plenty of storage for your stuff.
We can only take in non-smokers and we can't have pets. Also, no drunks or drug addicts, of course...
