Automotive Tech Position Available-Buffalo, NY

We are currently looking for an Automotive Service Technician. The auto tech is responsible for performing repair activities.
Primary Position Accountability and Job Duties
* Repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust systems, air conditioning, steering / suspension systems, maintenance services, tires, and wheel alignment
* Adequately explain mechanical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, which may include teammates and customers on an as-required basis
* Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions in order to stay or become proficient in automotive diagnosis and repair
* Keep store management aware of service area mechanical repair problems as they occur
* Perform vehicle inspection / courtesy checks as required
* Maintain A.S.E. certifications
* FCAC certifications completed and current

Job Requirements


Candidates for the Automotive Service Technician position should meet the following requirements:
* 2 years technical education in automotive repair or 2 years of automotive repair experience
* 1 A.S.E. certification or equivalent Car Dealer Certification currently held
* A.S.E. Certified within 2 testing periods of employment in at least 1 of the following areas:


- Engine Repair
- Suspension & Steering
- Brakes
- Electrical Systems
- Heating & Air Conditioning
- Engine Performance
