Horse lease in Colorado Springs.

Hi! My name is Terri. I have a beautiful 14 yo Paint Mare in the Northwest part of Clorado Springs available for a partial lease over the summer. I do a partial lease .. 1,2,3 or 4 days per week, each month because I still try to ride 1 or two days per week myself when able, and the income from the lease allows me to help pay for board, vet bills, etc. Millie is boarded near my home at Flying W Ranch cattle Ranch. There are 4,500 acres of forest /mountain trails/ and expansive pastures to ride in that are owned by the Ranch and their property abuts the national forest lands, so you can literally ride for hours. There are approx. 20 or so other horses boarded there with various locals, mostly women, and families that are boarders like myself. Also there is a round pen and small outdoor arena you may use. I allow leasors to borrow my tack ( Western) or they may bring their own and store it in the tack room. Millie was trained English, though we have not done much jumping recently, so it would take some work on your part if you were interested in doing that. Millie is very sweet and sound but because of the nature of horses I do require experienced riders to demonstrate a comfortable command of the horse to ensure a good fit before leasing. My leases normally run for a minimum of 6 months or one year. If this sounds of interest to you, maybe we can work something out.
