Hi folks,

We're moving up to South Euclid in a few weeks, and I'm trying to find a good deal on internet service. We're not interested in cable TV, and a landline phone would be nice but not essential. We're open to either DSL or cable. So far, a lot of companies that I've checked say they don't serve our area. (AT&T, Verizon, Cox, WOW, etc.) The only companies I've been able to find so far are Time Warner and Earthlink. Time Warner's prices are ridiculous if you don't want a bundle of services. Earthlink is much more reasonable, but I had a horrible experience with them back in the dialup days.

Any thoughts on these companies? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance!

If not mistaken, Time Warner Cable pretty much has a monopoly of cable services in Northeast Ohio. Makes me mad, because I can't stand their customer service.

Windstream (aka Urinestream) is fairly reasonable, but when I had them it seemed that their service would cut out every once in a while.
