I know someone who was interested in moving to twinsburg who, like me, has bi racial children...I told her I heard that it is really nice and diverse...Does anybody else have any other opions???

I would not call Twinsburg DIVERSE. It is at least 80% white. City-Data lists it as 86% white. Now that certainly doesn't mean other races would be discriminated against. I sincerely doubt that. But diverse isn't the first thought that comes to most folks heads when describing T-burg.

Twinsburg is a small rural-ish cookie cutter suburb. Nothing wrong with it. If you are into that type of area I'd recommend it. I think there are better choices closer to the city, though.

If you haven't been to Twinsburg in a while, things have changed a bit. The city has gained a lot of African residents over the years, and the white popluation has dropped to 65-70% if you are lucky. There are a significant amount of mulatto children in the schools as well, so your friend will have no problem fitting in or worrying about discrimination with her biracials. It still has all those crap cookie cutter houses which a lot of people detest. It's becoming Shaker Heights without the charm. People are still pretty friendly though, but the lilly white days of this suburb are LOOOOONG gone and probably will not return.

wowowowow!!!!! lol....well, I'll past it on,,,We're moving back to ohio in the late summer but we're moving to shaker heights.....I told her I didn't think it was racist or anything like that but since I've been away for a while, I wasn't sure....Thank you guys soooo much!!!!
