If more clevelanders had the opportunity to leave their town, they'd learn why they actually have it made here. they have no idea
Great post. People have no idea about what else is out there. It really is that whole "the grass is greener" mentality.

I have said this over and over...People think the grass is always greener some place else...I call it, "out of towners infactuation", lol....cause that's all it is...It might last for a month, it might last for years..But there is always something deep inside that says, "I want to go back home where I came from"....

I think the negativity comes from people who really never left. I was born and partially raised in Cleveland for the first 10 years of my life. I've been in Florida for 20 years now and I'll be moving back to Cleveland this summer and I'm very excited to come back to my home. I have family who lives in Cleveland still and has never left and are negative about the city. I still read the news websites on Cleveland and other websites about Cleveland. I'm still a fan of the Indians, Browns and the Cavs. I see videos, pictures and new developments going on all around Cleveland and wonder what the heck are these people talking about? Yea Cleveland does have its share of problems just like every other American city. I feel that Cleveland will be one of the top cities and destinations again in the future. People just need to think outside of the box and make it happen.
