When he ran for reelection, there were really no other canidates that were close to competing with Mayor Jackson. He is not the best mayor Cleveland has ever had, but he has got some things done and it could be far worse too.

I agree entirely.

I think history will be very kind to Frank Jackson. Most of his critics have little to say other than the typical BS that's been around since Ralph Perk. Just remember, this city --hard times and all-- has been able to weather a nasty recession while continuously seeing steady improvement and securing development projects. How many other cities can say anything like that right now?

Default Well here we go again

Mayor Jackson keeps the city budget on track.
Without further layoffs Mayor Jackson goes on to admit not the best.
budget , however keeping services within the city is a must.
I agree , snow removal has been great , street cleaning almost never
happened in the many many years that I have lived in my house (20 +/- years). Even though I am one of those people that , sweeps the street
in front of my house . I can not wait for spring.
ANYONE ELSE SEE THE DIFFERENCE ? IN SAID SERVICES.
