Perry Payne may be a little bit out of your price range. It's a great location for getting to CSU ( only a free trolley ride away) and it's on the same street as many bars, clubs, and restaurants.

The building itself is older but has character. I think wooden floors, etc.

I know a kid who lived in the Chesterfield (E. 12th and Chester). He liked it and that's about 5 blocks from the edge of CSU's campus.

Yeah I saw it too,there are actually quite a few apartments within walking distance from csu.Also I think Perry Payne isn't all that expensive.Unitaially I had planned to come in spring but some visa issues didn't allow that,at that time I called the Crittenden Court office they had a good pricing range going.

If you live in the Warehouse District/ W. 6th, there is a free "trolley" that runs from 7 am-7pm connecting to Cleveland State:
