Hello! My fiancé and I were born and raised west of Cleveland. Although we’ve had to move, we’d really like to have our wedding “back home.” We are looking for assistance with finding a wedding/reception site. We would like to stick to the west side, although we’ve considered downtown options as well – they just seem very pricey. We’re willing to go as far west as Vermillion, and would be open to places around Oberlin, Lakewood, Strongsville, Westlake, or anywhere thereabouts.

What we’re looking for is what I think is making this a little more difficult. We’d like something outside the box, with a classic, antique feel to it. One of the best weddings I’ve been to was in another state, but it was at an old Catholic school that was now used for weddings. I love that idea, or an old mansion, or some other historic site. Can anyone provide suggestions? Even if you’ve only heard that a particular place might do weddings, or even if it might be pricey, I’m willing to do the homework to see what I can come up with! Any leads would help! Thanks in advance for any ideas or advice you can offer!

What about a beach wedding? My friends daughter is doing that. If interested I can get details.

What about City Hall? And I don't mean a Justice of the Peace. LOL
Cleveland (city of) just started renting out the old city hall building.
Does it get more antique then that building? It is beautifull.
