Cool Recommendations for NE OH area bank or credit union

Well... I need to open a local account as I found out this week having my only bank acount at a local Lansing, MI credit union just is not going to be a convenient option. SO....

Can anyone recommend either a good bank or credit union that has branches in the area. We want something accessible for the SW side of Cleveland metro (Strongsville, N. Royalton), and having more branches available is a plus.

Need to know with any recommendation....
  • How long does the bank hold deposits?
  • What are the fees?

Thanks!

We have always banked at Firstmerit. Plenty of branches and they are a locally owned bank, not some big impersonal bank. We get free checking, free ATM, free electronic bill pay.
