Hello,
I am looking for a place near Cleveland. I am looking for acreage, but not a rural place. See what I had in Missouri, was a community that was beautiful and grassy, with all the trees cleared and open space, and everyone had a lot of 2.5 acres or more. And only 10 minutes away from the huge city of Springfield.
I like the city, but I like space. I want a suburb that is still classy even if it has more land. I am not looking for something where I am the only one in that place and I am secluded, because I am not a farmer or hunter or anything like that. I want something where it has paved roads and basically like a community but with huge backyards. I want it somewhere safe too.
Cost is not an issue here, so give your suggestions openly.
I'm looking at homes.com and other things, but so far all the homes don't even have one acre! I want at least two acres.
Please give me some suggestions! I really like it in Ohio by the lake, and I'm very outgoing, but even when I look at land to build my own house (I'm very open to that, in fact I would love to build my own home), all the land looks uncleared with no neighbors around, no paved roads etc.
Thanks!

If you want to be close to Cleveland, check out western Geauga county. Communites such as Bainbridge, Chesterland, Auburn. They are fairly close to Cleveland and you can get 2 acre lots, esp. in Auburn.

You can also get larger lots on the west side, specifically Strongsville - Brunswick - Medina depending on how far you want to commute.
