Default KSU ranked top 200 in world

News: Kent State Rated One of the World’s Top 200 Universities

Somewhat old news (last Fall) I stumbled on this and was suprised KSU ranked so high, especially since I spent some time there in the late 70s

"Kent State was the only public research university in Northeast Ohio to be awarded the honor and one of only four in the state of Ohio to make the list, along with Case Western Reserve University, The Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati."

I have a co-worker who attended KSU at the same time. And, based on the stories he tells, the campus has changed quite a bit between then, and when I graduated in 2000.

Interesting. Good to see another NEO college up there.

Also, good to see Case Western ranked at 65th in the world...I wouldn't be surprised if that ranking goes up within the next two years (applications up 44%, endowment up, research $$ up)
