Hi,
We currently rent an apartment in Westlake, and we really like this area. However, my husband got a job in Medina, and it will be about 50 minutes drive for him. Thankfully our lease expires in October, so we have the freedom to choose a place. The only problem is that snow and I don't get along very well, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the south gets more snow than the north. We would like to rent a house/townhome, because we have 2 little dogs, so I would like to get your opinion about Strongsville, Middleburg Heights and surrounding areas. I heard that Brunswick and Medina get lots of snow,so we want to stay away from them. We want to rent for now, and we are considering paying up to $1200 for a 3 bedroom. If we like the area, we will be considering buying by next year.
I appreciate any suggestions!

You can't avoid it. It is going to snow in all the cities you mentioned. Brunswick and Medina don't get much mroe snow then Strongsville or MidBerg Heights.

Trails of Montville located on 6055 Waterbury Drive in Medina is a townhome like place ...very nice...laurel hill located on4401 Laurel drive in Brunswick, ohio....Medina also has stonebrook village apartments..These were places we were also considering especially with Medina Schools having and "Excellent" rating for the 2009-10 School year.

Default Rather be close to job

The less drive time in the snow , would be ideal , if anyone thinks driving
in the winter would be too nerve racking .
As stated by (see below) You can't miss the snow , Medina today has
almost anything one would need within it's city limits and the surrounding
townships are just a short trip away. Including that mall to the north in Cuyhoga County (Southpark ) I guess most mediaens should start calling it Northpark
Did I just do a funny ? not really
If someone has a choice , pick as close to work , all else will work out.
