Hey Everyone,

I will be moving to Downtown Cleveland this summer. I am looking for recommendations in regards to housing. Being a recent college grad, I am ok with a little bit of noise and definitely want a fun type of atmosphere. I am willing to spend up to $850 or so per month.

Ideally I really want to be around people who are the same age as me and are looking to meet new people. I would ideally like a washer/dryer hook up or already installed. Most importantly I just want "hip" area with a lot of offerings.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi SMSherman,

With your budget, I would check out living on East 4th street as I believe they have some units in that price range. Crittended in the Warehouse District would also be an option. I would also suggest looking somewhere in Ohio City or Tremont. Possibly look for a roommate as downtown rentals are tight right now. Feel free to ask any other questions or shoot me a PM and I would be glad to help. Good luck and welcome to Cleveland.

I think you can have you're pick at almost any of the apartment complexes. When I was looking for apartments in downtown, I found quite a few for under $850. I live in Crittenden which, I think, is one of the cheaper ones around the area. Location wise, I'd say Warehouse District or East 4th.

Welcome!
