Default Montrose/Fairlawn/Copley

Montrose/Fairlawn/Copley...

So this is the area I might end up. Can you guys tell me the pros and cons of this area. I'd love to get a balanced view. Thanks!

I don't live there, but I do most of my shopping there. It's a nice area with good schools. The only con is all the shopping. However, if you like being super close to everything, that might be a pro. Also, a lot of people from Akron tend to come to do their shopping there too. It's not a high crime area, but I've heard of a few bad thing that have happened, and it's not the locals causing the problem. I'm about 15 minutes away in Wadsworth. It's got great schools, and it's a lower-key community. Good luck.

Cons would be the traffic and congestion. Pros would be the convenience of shopping and restaurants, relatively upscale and safe area.
All 3 towns are clustered next to each other. Probably Copley is the least busy with more quiet neighborhoods and open country. Montrose has a few developments, but mostly consists of hotels, shopping malls and restaurants. Fairlawn has some beautiful older homes and neighborhoods, once you get off of the main drag (Rte. 18).

Second the thumbs up on Wadsworth. It has more of a community feel to it than the other places your cited and is nearby.
