Default me to

I have freinds that still will not let go of that name , and will not believe
"Tremont " is not the super rough area of the 60's , 70's and 80's ?
ok I know the late 70's thru the 80's , that hood just got a bad rap
I never had a problem . I always thought it strange that it was the
south side when Old Brooklyn was more south .
But of course a little digging in to Cleveland history , it was the City of
cleveland's most southern part , at one time .
Itwas properly named at the time because , even though Lake Erie to most, is Northerly
True North ,makes that area South of Public Square .
So sorry just my boring land surveying knowledge !
I am sure the last of the old timers loved the fact that the did not have
to clean the windows again from the soot from the steel mills.
Other wise I do believe those new condo ect. would not be happening
SEE There is some good , that everything is made in China .
