This storm was MILD compared to "normal", so far winter has been very light.

The toboggan place is operating as long as it is cold, 40F if I remember right, there doesn't need to be any snow on the ground.

The weather people seem to have a "The end is near" attitude with storms because they have been burned a few times, but it is going to turn into "The boy who cried Wolf".

The weather fools are always like that. They try to turn nature into breaking news at all costs. It's January in the north. It's cold and it snows. Sometimes, it snows a lot. It happens every single year. Put on a coat and go about your lives.

Yes, this winter has actually been great. The best 'winter' ever was the winter of '90 (or thereabout). Anyone remember? I don't think we had 2 inches of snow the whole winter. Mostly sunny blue skies high around 60 degrees.

^^That clip made me very cold!

I always feel sorry for the reporters who have to go out in that mess. They usually look so miserable.
