Does anybody know if the downtown businesses have experienced much spillover business from this, or are people mostly staying inside the casino?

^ I've heard Monday night people were fixiated to the new casino and e.4th was dead.

Tuesday, Wednesday there was some major spill over to e.4th and w.6th. Not sure how tonight is going.

I didn't go to E. 4th that night. But, everywhere I drove there were many people. I drove past Flannery's and they appeared busy. The new Tilted Kilt was mobbed.

Man, it's so great to see the momentum in downtown right now. Hotels booked through June 8? Imagine how huge this summer is going to be for the city. I can't wait to drive up from Columbus and check it all out. God I miss NEO.

I'm here in Columbus for probably another year until I graduate from OSU. I'm hoping to land a job in NEO after that.

Haha I'm another OSU kid who just graduated in March and moved enthusiastically back to Cleveland after some less than stellar years in our lovely capital city, so I can totally relate to you guys. And let me tell you, you are right about downtown being really fun right now. Should be a great summer! Welcome home, osu4brutus03!

Thanks :-) I'm also an OSU graduate Spring "2007" The only reason I stayed in Columbus this long is because after graduating from Undergrad I got a decent job offer in the city...Making the decision to move back home is such a great feeling....Cleveland is definitely on the rise again :-)

Yeah, it's not so much that I dislike Columbus, it's just that all the things I love to do are up north. I miss going to the Jake to see the Tribe play, being within a short drive of Cedar Point, going fishing on the lake, etc.
