I see your other post says you live in Twinsburg? That suburb is a good place for families by definitely tough to find other young professionals.

My short answer is get involved in groups, charities, fitness centers, Cleveland plays, etc.

Your commute makes it a little more difficult to do the things I'm familiar with in Cleveland, but by looking to get involved is always a great start!

Places where young people usually hang out are Dowtown, Coventry, Lakewood, Ohio City-W25, Tremont, and University Circle.

Cleveland Plays Volleyball is excellent. Meetup.com is great in Seattle where I moved to. Not sure about Cleveland.

Meetup.com is a good place to go. If you live in Twinsburg you could possible join their rec center. It is really nice and they offer alot of programs. I have been their before but since I dont live in Twinsburg it is a little to expensive to join. Their is also a cleveland professional group as well out their as well.

If you do MeetUp, exercise caution. It's a lot of older divorced people on there, even in the 20/30s group, and if a young female shows up, she's treated like prey by creepy dudes in their 50s (yes, there are men in their 50s that go to the 20/30s group). Overall, I don't really see any normal people in their 20s showing up at those events. Basically, don't do a MeetUp alone (the most important advice I can give), don't post your pic on the site, don't use your real name, and be very leery of giving out your number. And don't expect to meet anyone around your age.

Try going to the Tremont Art Walk - cool art galleries, wine and cheese, interesting people and fun bars to end the night.

Tremont ArtWalk - Cleveland

And if you can make it downtown for lunch on a Wednesday, you can probably strike up a conversation with professional people while eating great food truck eats!

DCA - Walnut Wednesdays

Or maybe go on a food tour and meet fellow foodies....

Taste Cleveland Food Tours | Cleveland Food Tours | | West Side Market | Little Italy

If you like sports, join some sports thing.

If not, take a class in something that interests you. You could go to Tri-C or just take a community class. Maybe a church group? I'd check out MeetUp, too.

There is a bar over by where the Kohls and Dick's is (by where Geauga Lake was) that has trivia teams.

You will make friends. Give it time.
