Default thinking about moving to cleveland (again)

about 2 yrs ago we almost moved there but now our family is thinking about it again so we can be closer to grandma and grandpa. I just dont want to have to get a realtor - we know where we want to be (either rocky river or avon) but we want to see homes on our own. I know some realtors might think it is foolish but we know what we want and we can do the negotiating and contract on our own. Anyone suggest a site other than realtor.com? I have used listingbook.com in the past and came away very impressed because it shows when homes come on and off the market in realtime.

want a 4bed 3 bath at least - we have 2 young daughters

why do all the houses in river have blue carpet and wallpaper? Geeze! My pricepoint is max 600K and that is all I am seeing!

Plus - I want to live in an area where there are kids everywhere - is river like that? OR just alot of older people?

Trulia is my favorite. They are all fine, I'm sure...but I just liked Trulia best.

If you decide to do it yourself, at least have a lawyer do the contract and closing for you.

Your budget is: wh-at???

It does seem there is a direct correlation with expensive homes having more wallpaper. Why is that?

Check this out:
18773 Lookout Cir, Fairview Park, OH 44126 - Zillow
(A bit strange there are no interior shots of a home that expensive, but WALK down your backyard to the MetroPark? SWEET!)

You do NOT need to limit your search to River.
Fairview Park, Berea, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls... all westside suburbs that are pretty family friendly.

No. Doesn't matter even a tiny bit. There is no "bad" area of Rocky River. Likewise, every suburb I mentioned.
