Top 5 Most Upscale Areas Around Cleveland Within 30 Minutes Away
I would love relocating near the Cleveland area in the very near future because of the many things to do in the city. I do not want to live in the city but desire to live within 30 minutes of it. I would like to buy a house in a small community. I am not particularly interested in schools as I do not have any children nor plan to. I want to live in a small, safe community. HELP!!

I'm only familiar with the Westside of Cleveland.
Westlake would be considered upscale.
It's been nicknamed the "Beachwood of the Westside".
The link below is a few years old, as far as data....you can also do a Google search on Westlake, Ohio for more info.
Westlake, Ohio (OH) Detailed Profile - relocation
Other cities considered "upscale" IMO would be...parts of Rocky River, Bay Village...again, both Westside, and within 30 mins of Cleveland.

Lakewood, north of Clifton Boulevard. In particular the Clifton Park area in Lakewood's far northwest corner.

Lake County, Mentor or Concord Twp. Concord Twp. is higher class and Mentor itself is a very nice area and it is extremely safe, it is the perfect distance from downtown Cleveland too.

Depending on how much you're willing to spend...the east suburbs are home to some staggering amounts of wealth, tucked away on semi-rural estates faaaar away from the city bustle.
Check out Hunting Valley (money in a league of its own! ), Pepper Pike, Gates Mills, Beachwood, Shaker Heights (b/t Shaker and Fairmount Blvds), Bratenahl, and Waite Hill.
Chagrin Falls is another upscale community, kindof more unto itself, very quaint with a small-town atmosphere.

I don't count Hunting Valley, Bentleyville,Gates Mills,Pepper Pike, or Moreland Hills- they're in a league of their own.
Westlake
Avon Lake
Strongsville
Independence
Brecksville
are 5 nicer areas.
I don't know if its within 30minutes, but Hinckley, Richfield, Aurora, Penninsula, and Hudson are also very nice. Rolling Hills, quieter, etc.
