Hi everybody, I'm a first-time poster, but I've been reading threads on here for awhile. Anyway, I'm a CSU student (studying urban studies and public administration, if you're overly-interested) and I'm looking to move off campus next year. I'm currently living in Fenn Tower, a beautiful building, but between the roommates and meal plan, even the Taj Mahal wouldn't be enough to make me stay. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any hidden gems this side of the Cuyahoga up to about East 40th. Some complexes I already have include: Statler Arms, The Chesterfield, Huron Square/Osborn, East 4th Neighborhood, The Stockbridge, Plaza Suites, the Cornerstone, and National Terminal Warehouse. Wondering if any has any comments/has lived in these or knows of any others. My max is $750/month for a studio or 1br (I am a student, after all). Thanks for any help.

Well, this might be out of your price range, but it's certainly a hidden gem: http://www.2320lofts.com/

I should warn you that the Chesterfield is cheap because it's a dump

I've heard both sides on The Chesterfield--some people love it; some hate it. What do you base your opinion on?

When it was built, it was considered a luxury apartment. However, when I toured it, it seemed dingy and outdated and another tenant told me they have an issue with roaches, likely due to the restaurant on the first floor. Dingy and outdated I can tolerate, but not roaches.
