The 2014-2015 Cavs home opener evening will be a great night to be at the game... Heck even being in Downtown Cleveland to soak of the fanfare and watch for celebrities.

Star-studded attendance:

- Kendrick Lamar and Kevin Hart performing pregame outside
- Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, plus who knows who else sitting court side
- I'd be shocked if their weren't a number of local Cleveland athletes...Johnny Manziel, Joe Haden, etc
- Terry Francona should be there... He bought season tickets

Justin Timberlake courtside; Jay Z and Beyonce rumored - Waiting For Next Year

Plus the New York City news media coverage due to us facing the Knicks (on top of the national non-stop media coverage).

Thursday, Oct 30 is going to be a fun, star-studded, emotional night for Cleveland!

Not to mention the action on the floor itself with some big highlights

Coach David Blatt's first game, Return of the King, K-Love

Wasn't Carmelo's and Lebron's first NBA game against each other?

EDIT: check out resale ticket prices http://www.stubhub.com/cleveland-cav...-2014-9106898/ if you don't have tickets already, you best be willing to throw down some bank

LeBron's first ever regular season game was against the Sacramento Kings, of which Carmelo was not a member.

Should be fun season, I'm sure it will take awhile to get the chemistry right as it did with LJ first year with Heat. It will be nice to possibly see a team in Cleveland that is a winner..got my tickets for Minn. /Wiggins game when I visit during Christmas (Gordon Gund's old seats)

I'm very excited. I think a lot of media and fans though are expecting 75-7. That, simply put, is not going to happen. I still think we have as good a chance at a title as anyone in league but think we will struggle early and hope that doesn't negatively impact team chemistry. Also, while I think we can get one/two out of next two years, I do have my worries about the upcoming tv contract, and the potential that the NBA could become a free market sport like MLB, creating way less parity than even that has.
