I'm not religious and am not sure of what the process is called. But I'm looking for a church that welcomes non members to come and sit quietly and meditate and pray.

I always go to nature to heal. Try the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, or a lakefront park.

Lakeview Cemetary is another one...plenty of quiet spots there.

I think most churches, if you ask, will welcome you to sit and reflect.

Yeah, honestly if a church WASN'T to welcome you in with open arms, I'd disassociate myself from said church.

However if you aren't super religiously inclined nature (or for me architecture even) aren't bad ways to go. I love bike rides to clear the mind.

If grand architecture gives you a similar feeling also, and you want to find a church to sit quietly in, I would recommend going to Trinity Episcopal near downtown by CSU, it's a beaut.

Best of luck.
