Also Cincy-Rise, I wouldnt be too sure about that, the summer is usually a lot more dangerous in most cities. By this time last year, Cleveland had around 35 murders, so that would have been around 105 for the whole year, but instead we got up to 135. You cant be too sure until it starts to get really hot.

East Cleveland had another murder, thats the second for the year. East Cleveland had 12 murders last year.

Has anyone heard of any news/leads on the 54 year old teacher that was shot in Euclid in the beginning of April? I heard it on the news for 2 days reporting it and the investigators/detectives just said they were working on it and there has been no news of arrests/suspects or a crimestopper reward or anything..... shouldnt the news report something?

I wasn't aware that a teacher had been shot. That's terrible! Cleveland is in a leadership crisis. I fear that, if nothing is done about this outrageous crime (which is actually a poverty problem), all of us here are going to be held hostage by the nuisance.

Euclid isn't Cleveland...but still terrible!!

She was a Cleveland School Teacher, but was shot in Euclid in her home I believe in the beginning of April -- Her car was found running in the drive and she was found in her basement bathroom shot in the chest. The news reported it initially and I have not heard anything of arrests or even a story after that.

I think I heard about that when it happened. I havent heard any more news about it in a while.

Thanks! Well , I know if they are waiting on dna and evidence it could take a couple months. They havent said they have no leads , and came to the public so hopefully they have suspects. I take my child to day care on the street that it happened, so it was a real shock.

Yet another murder in East Cleveland, thats 3 so far for that city. Cleveland is at 28 or 29 I believe.

Cleveland has had another murder, a body was found in a field off E105th st. and it was ruled a homicide. That should be 29 or 30 for Cleveland so far this year.
