There has been another homicide in Cleveland, a man was shot in the head on E82nd and Decker and later died. That brings the total to 34 I think. Still well below last year.

There was a kid that died from cancer in Cleveland earlier in the year and somehow they ruled it a homicide just today. That brings the total to 35.

Yeah, I havent been keeping track of all of them. There was also a dead body found in East Cleveland today, and if its a homicide I think that brings their total to 3 so far, doing better than last year also. So 39 now for Cleveland.

We started a forum like this last year for the 2007 Homicides. I started it because of the unusually high amount of homicides Cleveland was having and to bring awareness about what was going on. We also keep track of homicides in other cities across the area too. The forum is just to see how the city is doing and what needs to be improved as far as crime-wise. Whether you live in Cleveland or the surrounding areas, crime effects everybody. I also lived in Cleveland for a short time and know people all over the city so it does effect me.
Also, there was another homicide in Cleveland today on the Eastside. That brings the number up to 40 still doing much better than last year.

What really do you get out of it? I can understand a thread for the end of the year....But updating it with every homicide that happens in the city? Come on now.
