^^^ Cincy had three murders between June 18 & 23. I don't know about the rest of the month so at least 24 this year.

Yet another murder on the Eastside of Cleveland early this morning. The murder took place on E99th st and St. Clair (ironically I think thats the exact street where the rap group Bone Thugs n Harmony grew up on).

Sadly, Clevelands on pace to double Cincinnati (possibly Columbus also) for homicides. Clevelands at 47 and I guess Cincinnati is somewhere near 22, not too sure about Columbus. Most of the other Ohio cities dont seem to be doing too bad as far as murders, but Cleveland is still doing better than last year.

If you look at the city link I posted, it says it was updated on 6/25?

It's common to see modern dates on old police statistic pages. When the service doing the work updates anything those dates go on pages even from 2004, etc. The way I see it it's like a gimmick. Little Rock, for instance, hasn't posted a stat beyond 2007. The page reads "Last Updated 06/09/08."
Statistics: Little Rock Police Department

The link you posted has stats from January through May. Murders occurring in June are additional, right?

It's good that you posted a link to verifiable data. If there's ever a debate about what the number should be - that settles it.

Well, if the date constantly changes and so does the homicide total, what do you gather from that? Look at the history of post in this thread from me.

The murder on 99th and St. Clair was the 46th, here is the link right here: Cleveland man shot and killed, crashes car - Cleveland Metro News – The Latest Breaking News, Photos and Stories from The Plain Dealer

After that I think they had another 2 more murders (they said there have been 4 within the last 48 hours) so I think that would bring the total to 48. Cleveland is starting to heat up and the violence in the city is rising. An innocent homeless man was beaten to death near East 55th street, another innocent person killed at a gas station, and another innocent old man in a wheel chair was killed on the Eastside in a drive-by, along with the murder on 99th. Thats all within the last 48 hours.

This is ridiculous, if this keeps up we will barely be better than last year. Hopefully they can do something to help stop the violence in the great city of Cleveland.

correction - add another homicide a 75 year old man in a wheel chair was shot to death on the Eastside

That should bring the total for the night up to 3
