there's not enough to talk about. if this was a more political crowd, maybe, but it ain't so it's easier to talk about more cities.

Last year was pretty crazy and thats why you saw all these homicide/crime threads showing up. 135 for a city of 440,000 is ridiculous, it stayed at relatively the same very high rate the entire year. It still amazes me that even with all the reports, news articles, and the homicide counts/threads somehow the FBI still put the number at 90...If Im not mistaken even the CPD has the number at 135 for last year. The FBI makes a lot of errors though.

imo, it's better to include other OH cities, just to gauge what everyone else is doing. Plus, it's not everywhere in OH, just the 3C's ... showing two other cities isn't going to kill anyone.

Fair enough. Go make a thread in the Ohio section and each city can keep track. But please leave other cities out of this thread.

^ I've only made comparisons with the 3C's in this thread about 5 or 6 times ... there's about 5 other posters that you'll have to confront.

It might be better to IM a moderator? There's just too many people & posts (357) that you'll have to hound.

Can anybody confirm if crime is a lot higher in Columbus this year or if anything else has changed? You cant forget the fact that Cleveland has 300k less people, and Cincinnati has 410k less people than Columbus though.

You can't compare the population of Cleveland and Columbus, that's a joke. They annex all the suburbs so that would be like comparing Columbus with Cuyahoga County. That's a discussion for an all together different thread though.

joke? no it's not. the dynamics of the annexed neighborhoods aren't as simplistically suburban as it seems.
