I don't know ... in the article above it's about this very topic w/interviews from police chiefs, etc ... Could be wrong though.

5 people shot last night. 2 in serious. Doubt they'll update the article though.

That last one should be 85 now.

BTW does anybody have the link to the website that keeps a chart keeping track of all the cities homicide numbers on it? I see is people posting it once in a while but I have no idea what site its from. If you know, either post the link on here if your allowed or send me a PM. Im interested to see how the other cities are doing also.

Triple shooting, homicide at OTR bar | Cincinnati Enquirer | Cincinnati.Com

Sept. 30 - Cincinnati’s homicide count stands at 56 after two fatal shootings Tuesday. (CPD cites 54 murders through the end of September.)

I don't trust the Enquirer for its math. They report #58 on Oct. 6 and starting Oct. 10th published news of 7 murders since then. They make the police stats seem questionable. So far for Cincinnati I'm seeing #65.

Where is #85? I make my share of mistakes but I do try to keep track with notes and links. Maybe I missed one somewhere?

#80 - Oct. 8 - Stated in this news article...
Teen charged with killing his 13-year-old cousin - Metro - cleveland.com
---
#81 ? Oct. 18 - Father faces murder charges (but isn't charged yet?)
Cleveland infant dies, father faces murder charges - Metro - cleveland.com
---
#82 ? Oct 25 - No charges filed: Man In Custody After Finding Girlfriend Dead On Kitchen Floor
Man In Custody After Finding Girlfriend Dead On Kitchen Floor - News Story - WEWS Cleveland
---
#83 ? Oct. 29 - One person died in a house fire. (link is above)
---
#84 ? Oct. 30 - 19-year-old Cleveland man shot dead Wednesday morning (link is above)
---

Is this the time of year when the media and police try to confuse those of us trying to keep track of murders? Cincinnati Enquirer screws up the numbers and Cleveland police investigate deaths as homicides, jail people, yet don't file murder charges.
