I understand what Gtsurfer is trying to say and what you are trying to say. I thought it was kind of immature that the news and the police automatically thought since they were from the suburbs the only reason they would be in the city is to buy drugs or look for trouble. I dont agree with that, they could have had friends over there or they could have got lost driving around just having fun. If they were being dumb they still didnt deserve to die.
Then on the news it said that noone in that area knew or ever saw any of those kids before. Still nobody knows what they were doing in Cleveland, but why shouldnt kids be able to go anywhere they want to? It doesnt even seem like they were looking for trouble, maybe they just wanted to drive around and go places they had never been before. Either way RIP to the kid that died.

Yeah I forgot about that one. There was a murder on the westside which brings the total to 19 or 20.
RIP

Another girl shot in a drive by on the westside.. she was shot in the chest - but they have no information on her conditions. It was near West 58th and Storer.

And the body of Mario Williams was found decomposed near Edgewater Park. He was missing since a concert. Supposedly a phone was found with him tied up. RIP

Yeah I heard that he was missing a while ago. Its a pretty sad situation. I guess he was killed and tied up or something, then probably thrown in the river and went out to the lake or was thrown in the lake to begin with. That brings the total to 20 or 21.
RIP to Mario Williams.

The Mario WIlliams situation was noted in the P.D. that the coroner said it was not a homicide, but an accident. No evidence of foul play or struggle.

How could that not be a homicide? How was it an accident? I dont know, I guess I missed something. The last I heard he was at a concert and then went missing, and when they found him people were guessing that he was killed or tied up and then thrown in the river or the lake. I dont understand, what happened then?
Either way RIP.
So I guess the current count is at 19 or 20.

If we have about 20 murders right now we are doing better than last year. Last year at about this time we had around 28 murders. Thats an estimate though because this year when we reached 18 murders, a week or so ago, they said last year at this time we had 25. But either way we are still doing better.
As far as the other crimes, sadly, they are all still about the same except rape which is up 59%, so were not going to see any decrease any time soon, or at least this year. You expect to see Cleveland on the top 10 most dangerous again, unless things change soon.
