Case Western Reserve now is ranked 38 among national universities by U.S. News & World Report.

Of course, it's no Harvard, but there are few universities in the world, if any, that compare well to Harvard. E.g., even Princeton doesn't have Harvard's elite professional schools.

Completely agree! I would say Boston's access to the Freedom Trail and the level of colonial history and architecture that took place there, as well as it's connectivity and level of urban safety is pretty darn nice. However, that being said, like you said, basically everything else really can be found in Cleveland, and even some things you might not find in Boston (eg, more open/green space, way cheaper, not nearly as fast paced, etc.). Case is a fantastic school. I saw the 38 ranking, which is likely most trustworthy, and it's impressive to have Case considered on similar footing/tier with schools such as Boston College, William & Mary, Georgia Tech, UNC Chapel Hill etc.) However, it is even more amazing to note that some have it ranked even higher (Washington Monthly, #9), and that Cleveland has a very solid second big league university in Oberlin that can go toe to toe with virtually all of the most elite LAC's of the northeast.
