HBDL here, I have purchased the vacant lots on both sides of our house. We're planning on fencing them both in. Unfortunately, on one side our neighbors continually drive on the grass. I had asked them not to drive on it, but they keep doing it. Who should I call?

Install a hidden camera that records while you are away. Then when it happens, show the police that your property is being damaged due to negligence of others. Another option is to install stone blocks that are 5 inches tall.

Check with your zoning board for required set-backs, then drive metal fence posts into your property. You don't have to put up a fence immediately.

If your neighbor has been using this land as a drive for decades, they may have acquired a legal easement by right of possession.

I would definitely seek legal advice. WRnative is right, if they've been using it for X amount of time, they may have a right to use it. Definitely seek legal counsel.

I like the idea of putting in large rocks or posts to prevent them from driving there. You could also put up "private property" signs.
