Default Preschools in ShakerHts/Beachwood/Solon/Chagrin Falls...

Hi, we got some great information from people about moving from San Diego to Cleveland. We are still looking at neighborhoods. I have one preschooler and I will need to get him into a program for the fall - can anyone recommend a preschool in either the Shaker Heights, Beachwood, Solon, Chagrin Falls or Hudson neighborhoods? Recommendations are much appreciated.

Default If you still are in need of preschool info...

1. Based on reputation, award status (Ohio 3 star winner), and an hour tour (among other things), I would probably say that one of the best preschools in Shaker is Carol Nursery School. Unfortunately, we had a scheduling conflict and my child couldn't attend the class that had an opening. It is quite expensive however and an opening at this point may be difficult to obtain.
2. Two co-operative preschools in the area I have some experience with are also quite good: Christian Heights Church Co-op (Shaker) and Church of the Savior Co-op (up the road in Cleveland Heights). Both are inexpensive, secular, and friendly.
Best of luck to you!
