Default **** and Tremont Montessoris

Hey all,

We're moving to Cleveland in a few months and I have looked at tons of different areas but for some reason I'm stuck on Ohio City (and yes I KNOW people say that Cleveland SD is horrid) so what I've been researching magnets, alternatives and private schools.

What does anybody know about both Booker and Tremont Montessoris?

Thanks

(I wish I wasn't so stuck on Ohio City but the idea of life in the burbs even with a good rapid system is appalling) And the idea of private school is appealing, but I agree with the argument that the heavy use of private schools only further undermines the city school district.

again, not my area of knowledge, but take a look at Urbancommunityschool DOT org. I did once meet a mom who lived in OC whose daughter went here and they were very pleased. While it appears they have a mission to serve inner city children, this was a child of professionals and I am sure they would not send their child there if she would not fit in, make friends, or get a poor education. The location is Gritty (did you see the capital G?) . If you were to visit, you would need to go across the street to Steve's hot dog Lunch, and have a dog. It is classic old school Cleveland, and we are better for it.
