Default Law student seeking housing

What are some of the better neighborhoods in Cleveland relatively close to Marshall College of Law? I stress that I am a student so I need cheap rent and decent amenities (such as stores and access to travel). Any replies are appreciated.

Hi. Welcome- tons of cheap, safe apartments along Clifton and Lake blvd city of Cleveland and Lakewood (a seperate city). Try Craigs list or drive around. Direct express bus line to CSU. walk to about everything. you could be car free. Also Ohio City and tremont neighborhoods are great-both close. I only recommend them after Lake and Clifton Blvd. because it can be more expensive (hip areas with cafes, bars etc) and there is more crime so you really need to know the area to make sure you are on street you would be comfortable with -my idea of safe and yours might be different. I feel safe, but there is crime. Downtown may have some choices-depends on price range. More and more to do every day.

Little Italy is also "cheap" for the safety and amenities. Especially if you have a roommate, you could be spending 400-500 a month on a fairly large pad.
