A bit off-topic are we Aligal?
I am currently in DC/NOVA and take full advantage of the METRO. I think the RTA will adopt a similar system as the SMARTCARD. I second The Winking Lizard in Conventry. So much fun!
It's been awhile since I have been back, so I was wondering if there are any bars similar to ESPN Zone or Dave and Busters in C-Town? Meaning interactive games, not just billiards and darts...

There is a Dave & Busters on the westside of town, off of I-90. I want to say that's either Westlake or Rocky River.
There is a Jillians in Cleveland Heights, but it's mostly billiards. There are some games, but it's not like a regular Jillians.

There are a few bars on mayfield rd, paninis, bone yard, bw3, fox and hounds. Bar of louie is a good time, depending on the night there are some good crowds. Also there are alot of brs on lee rd b/w silbys rd and cedar. Lee rd and coventry are mostly john carroll students. You can also go downtown to west 6th area, alot of fun especailly when when the weather gets nicer. You can take the rapid home but probably have to take a cab home. also lakewood is a good time but from east side is like a 40 min drive. hope that helps

I'd say Lakewood has many more younger students and young professionals. It has 5-6 as many bars as conventry and cleve heights too. I frequent both and would say Lakewood > Conventry in terms of the bar scene. And Lakewood is NOT 40 minutes from the whole east side. To Conventry it's a 15 minute drive. To downtown - 10 minutes max most times. 40 minutes from Lakewood is like Mentor or Painesville out in the boonies.

With all due respect, the Lakewood bar scene is nice, but it doesn't blow Cleveland Heights' scene out of the water. Additionally, the reason why there are so many young folks going to the Heights bars is because CH is located almost geographically right in the middle of John Carroll and Case Western Reserve. Lakewood has no universities funneling younger crowds into its bars.
One more thing: Lakewood is not a 15 minute drive to Coventry. It's at least 20 minutes and could be up to 30 or 35, depending on your destination in Lakewood. There are no freeways that directly connect Lakewood to Cleveland Heights.
