Default Moreland Courts - Shaker Square

Any information on the quality of the Moreland Courts condos? Although I think we are still looking into Lakewood we are also considering the SSquare area (specifically the East side that would be in the Shaker district).

Does anybody know anyone or has heard about Moreland Courts?

Any info super appreciated!

Thanks,

That's supposed to be a very elegant, high-quality complex from what I hear. I don't live in Cleveland anymore, but that was one of my dream buildings when I lived in town... still is, in a way. I've never actually been inside the place, but I've seen plenty of photos.

I understand they had some problems awhile back (leaking roofs, etc.) but the buildings just underwent an extensive renovation a couple years ago, so the place should be in good shape. Condo maintenance fees are pretty high, however, or so I've heard.

Here's their website:

I don't know much about the property mang etc, but Shaker Square is really nice. It has an east coast feel to it. I know there was one luxury condo building that had to be upgraded and the owners had a special assessment (happens from time time in condos for major repairs) for a HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars. wow, I cannot imagine. Many units hit the market for rock bottom prices. But that was a few years ago and I imagine things are worked out (and I am not even sure if it was this building) It would be a great place to rent. I only recommend buying in the midwest if you think you are going to be around for a long time.
