Default A Classy Lady's Guide to Cleveland

An interesting perspective, especially as the FOUNT locally made leather goods store in Gordon Square was new to me:

Fire, an acclaimed locavore restaurant, and the Balaton, the best Hungarian restaurant in Ohio, are other options nearby EDWINS in Shaker Square, easily reached from downtown's Tower City on either the Blue or Green line rail rapids.

Default RTA extends free C-line trolley service to East Flats for summer season

Any visitor to Cleveland should familiarize themselves with the free downtown bus trolley routes. The following article doesn't reflect the extension of the C-line to the East Flats beginning Memorial Day weekend.

http://www.riderta.com/sites/default...s/Trolleys.pdf

Recently, Cleveland extended C-line service to the East Flats. This is significant given the entertainment options and river walk on the East Flats. Also, access to the East Flats involves steep grades, and somewhat limited access roads, especially for those not familiar with Cleveland.

This extended service only will be offered from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

I live in Dorchester, a part of Boston that for many years whenever you mention its name, people will go "Oh that's ghetto! It's poor! Don't go there! You'll get shot!" It is slowly changing. I think people still have the perception that Cleveland and Cuyahoga County are poor, boring, and rundown with nothing good to offer. Hopefully that will change for the better.

Dorchester is my favorite part of Boston actually ha. It reminds me most of Cleveland.

Real people in both places. Very little pretension and arrogance. Hard working folk. Gotta love it.

Default Progressive Field eats

Here's a 2017 guide to Cleveland restaurants with Progressive Field stands:

Hint: save some money and visit nearby restaurants, such as Barrio or Mabel's, before the game.

Great Lakes Brewery offers shuttle service to and from games from the Market District.
