Have a drink and some appetizers on the patio at Pickle Bill's, but go across the street to Brennan's for a meal of perch or walleye. Brennan's isn't only cheaper, it has better food IMO.

Very near Grand River (the village where Pickle Bill's and Brennan's is located) is Mentor Headlands Beach State Park. Grand River isn't upscale like many CA beach communities.

I prefer fried perch to fried walleye.

If you haven't been to the Holden Arboretum, it's excellent. Nearby is the Kirtland Temple. See Kirtland and Mentor here (Garfield National Historic Site is another very good attraction).

Fairport Harbor has condos on a bluff overlooking the beach, as well as on Grand River. Some of the Grand River condos may have been flooded during the 500-year flood a few years ago.

If you enjoy Lake County, perhaps check out these condos.

Default Buckeyes battle Sooners Saturday night

Sports bars, especially downtown and Ohio City with a Sunday Browns game, should be hopping on Saturday night due to the Ohio State/Oklahoma game. Cleveland is the second largest Ohio State market after Columbus.

Thank you! I have stayed there, but not on points...until next time...

I really do LOVE the Holiday Inn Express down the street. They know me at this point. Even when I called to cancel last week due to that flight, they said, "OH, bummer. We had you in a suite."

Still a great location with Playhouse across the street.

Bjimmy...couple of years, probably not. I can start collecting retirement at 55 and my bday next week... only 48.

Buying NOW and renting is my plan.

What do you know that you are wanting to ask?

How were the Grand Arcade condos? I've only viewed them online.
