Default Best Maternity Care Hospital in Strongsville area

Can anyone give any advice on which hospitals are good and which ones to stay away from? I am looking for one with private rooms and a neonatal intensive care unit, if possible. I am new to the area so I am unsure of where to start looking as I am living in the Strongsville area, so the hospital would need to be semi-close to it. Thanks.

I would suggest looking at fairview hospital located in a nice part of Cleveland...pretty close to Strongsville and part of the Cleveland Clinic. It has a great reputation and my friends who have delivered there love it.

Ditto to Fairview! My first two and third on the way were/will be delivered there. They have fairly new, large NICE private suites and a Level III NICU. My DD was in the NICU for a week when born, and they were amazing! Also, I'm biased too b/c my DH works there, but it is a GREAT hospital to deliver at! HTH and GL!

Fairview is called the baby factory for a reason.

My wife had a fun 22 hours and 4 nurses. Only the first one was bad and had the personality of a turd. The other 3 were so good they told the doctors what to do. Some of the nurses have THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of births under their belt so to speak.

Ill never forget...

Its 11PM and my wifes labor is not progressing. The nurse was watching the monitors. I actually saw a thought flash through her eyes. It was wierd. She got up off the chair; said, "this is NOT working"; and left the room. 3 mins later the doctor comes in and says its C section time.
