Default Cleveland "Street View"!!!

You can now see a street view of almost any area in the city of Cleveland and some surrounding areas. Just go to google.com/maps and click on Street view and zoom in on Cleveland. Its an interactive picture and map and shows the address of the location where your at.

Its pretty cool I went downtown then into some rich areas then into the really bad areas on the Eastside. You can see almost any area of Cleveland. I noticed some areas that I havent been to in a while look nicer, but some areas look even worse.

You can also see street view of about 40 other cities across the US. But Cleveland is the first city in Ohio to have a street view.

I found this out from the article on Cleveland.com. They also have a birds eye view on local.live.com thats pretty cool too, but not as good as the street view. It shows birds eye view of most of the Cleveland area, Elyria, Lorain, and the Eastside too but not Akron yet.

I think they said that most of the street view was taken in October of last year ,so its pretty recent. For some of the pictures the sun is shining so bright that you can hardly see anything. But for others its pretty cloudy. I think they just drive a car around with a thing on the top that takes 360' pictures of the area.
