Thanks Yac. I'm moving back...to Akron. Will take pictures of smiling buildings. From when I was back in NE Ohio, there weren't too many smiling faces there for pics. I hope I can help.

Would love to see an Akron Forum. They seem to be a notchhappier there than in Cleveland.

Great shots! What is that restaurant called at Jacobs Field (what is the new name of the stadium now?) It is a restaurant with a complete glass facade that offers awesome views over the field. I think it is a more upscale resturant where you need reservations.

aligal is on a distinguished road
I also have seen no Mexicans there, although I have seen alot of Mexicans in Akron. You got a problem with Mexicans?Where my daughter lives, there are likeall these Mexicans all living in one tiny apartment, with just bare mattresses on the floor.I feel bad for them,it is so depressing.I think the landlord has them working for him for little money,or just in exchange for living in the tiny apartment with the matresses and no furniture

It seems that a lot of people were being racist in here earlier in the thread. There is mexicans in Cleveland, and I dont see a problem with it, with me not being a racist like some people. However, there arent that many mexicans and most of the hispanics in the area are Puerto rican. The Cleveland area has one of the largest puerto rican communities of all the metro areas. Decades back in Lorain they didnt have enough people to work at the steel mills (at the time needed over 12,000 workers) so they brought over a lot of people from Puerto rico to work at the mills and most of them settled in South Lorain, thats why the area is one of the only true hispanic communities in Ohio. Also Lorain has the largest hispanic percentage of any city in Ohio (over 21%).

The Westside of Cleveland is also another one of the true hispanic communites. The area around Ohio City/Tremont near westside along Clark/Fulton/25th and the surrounding area there is a high percentage of hispanics. They are also mostly puerto ricans with some mexicans and others. Cleveland also has the largest percentage of hispanics of any major or larger city in Ohio (8%).

Now, to get back on topic to pictures of Cleveland:

What do you mean about the "thugs and mexicans" being at Edgewater? Has it gotten that bad there??

I would love to see an Akron - or even Akron/Canton forum as well! I love my city (Akron)!
Hopefully the pic I have attached comes out. You can prob just click on the thumbnail to see a bigger version. I took it from atop Waters Park right near the Y bridge in North Hill. Love the black & white
